This notice describes pickup orders placed on Alpen Confections’ website.

Information for your order

We use your name, email, phone number, selected items, pickup time and special requests to process your order, prepare your selection and contact you about it. Placing an order does not subscribe you to marketing.

Payments and storage

Square provides the secure card form and processes payments. Card details are entered directly into Square’s form. Alpen’s website receives a payment token, not your card number. Square stores order, pickup and payment records for Alpen to manage.

Vercel hosts this website and its checkout service. Your browser keeps your selection while the page is open. If a payment needs checking, it keeps an order reference in session storage to help prevent a duplicate payment after a page reload. Card details are not stored in that browser reference.

Special requests and your choices

Please keep special requests relevant to your selection and do not include card details or sensitive medical information. Contact Alpen to ask about your information, request a correction or discuss an order record. Some order and payment records may need to be retained for business recordkeeping.
